Thank You to the Community

A big thank you to everyone who donated towels or bedding to Friends of Furries towel drive.

They were an important piece of the mobile vet clinic set up for 3 days on Penelakut Island by CAAT (Canadian Animal Assistance Team).  The volunteer vets and vet techs from all over Western Canada were extremely appreciative of having an ample supply of linens for their surgery tables and recovery areas.  They performed 74 spays and neuters, including 36 on feral cats trapped by Penelakut volunteers.
