As recently announced Eddie Rush is the Friends of Furries Poster Dog for this year’s DNA my Dog FUNdraiser... He will be appearing LIVE this Saturday... from 10-11 at the Recycling yard and 11-12 or so at the Community Fair.
Friends of Furries works with animals on both Thetis and Penelakut Islands, assisting with spay/neuters, partial financial assistance for emergency vetinerary care and surgeries for pets of low income individuals. In addition we assist with rehoming unwanted or stray animals, and transporting injured wildlife such as eagles and seals to appropriate facilities, and advocating for quality of life for all pets.

Entries are $10 each and you can send your guess via email to
seaspray@island.net, via the drop box to Friends of Furries, or with Carol Swann, Kathleen MacIsaac, Keith Rush or Ellen Rush whenever you see them.
