After the Spring Regatta, some of the Gypsy Dancers of the Salish Sea will be performing a belly dance at the Thetis Island Marina and Pub.
On May 10 this same dance will be danced worldwide. The purpose of this event is promote public awareness of Belly Dance as a performing art and to raise funds for our chosen charity – Cowichan Women Against Violence Society. The Shimmy Mob Performers invite you all to come and cheer us on – don’t forget that extra change – it will help make a difference.
