Ocean LearnFest  July 4-8th

Featuring a wide range of community activities with local and visiting guest specialists! All Ages means you! (*little folks 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult at 'All ages' sessions.)

Day sessions: ($10/session with the exception of Learn to Canoe)

ABC's of Marine Ecology and Art project (ages 8-13)

Orienteering and  Art project (ages 8-13)

Learn to Canoe with certified instructor (3 sessions/$50 inclusive; Ages 10+; adults encouraged to join!)

Eelgrass study (2 sessions, All ages)

The Science of Forage Fish (All ages)

The Joy of Birdsong forest walk(All ages)

Evening sessions (FREE! All ages welcome!) 7:30 pm Forbes Hall

July 4th: Mission Blue: The life story of Oceanographer Sylvia Earle Film and discussion

July 5th: Eelgrass Ecology with marine biologist Nikki Wright Talk and slide show

July 6th: Rockfish Conservation with marine biologist Andy Lamb Talk and slide show

July 7th: The Joy of Birdsong with ornithologist James Clowater Talk and audio-visual show
