On Sunday, November 12, the MV Kuper will be removed from service for Operational Readiness Exercises and crew training, as of the 2:40 pm sailing from Thetis Island. The MV Quinitsa will commence service on the Chemainus-Thetis-Penelakut route at this time.
The MV Quinitsa has a higher vehicle carrying capacity than the MV Kuper which will ensure a comparable or higher level or service for our customers.
The MV Kuper will return to the Chemainus-Thetis-Penelakut route on Tuesday, November 14 as of the 12:15 pm sailing from Chemainus.
