On May 3, 2017, BC Ferries will begin a life extension project to the trestle and ramp at the Thetis Island Terminal. The anticipated completion date of this work is June 16.

All work is planned to take place during weekday daytime hours. Work will involve pile driving with a barge and crane onsite. Noise levels are not expected to be excessive and all efforts will be made to limit any sound generating activities.

The work will be performed around the regular sailing schedule, and there is no anticipated impact to the sailing schedule or operations.

Please follow the direction of staff to ensure safe and efficient movement around the terminal.

BC Ferries would like to thank its customers for their patience and understanding while these necessary improvements are completed.
