Friends of Furries has been able to assist with the neutering of several male cats this spring, including a couple of very aggressive tom cats that were attacking other cats in their home yards.

We would like to encourage everyone to have their dogs and cats neutered or spayed for the health of both the intact animal as well as other neighbourhood pets. Neutering males decreases aggressive behaviour and wandering, while spaying females eliminates kittens and puppies.

If you need assistance with your pet, Friends of Furries has confidential funds available to assist with veterinary costs and we may be able to assist with logistical support getting your animal to or from a vet for spay/neuter.

Please contact Carol at seaspray@telus.net or Rhonda at davincii@telus.net if we can be of assistance.
