Carbon Monoxide (CO)is a colourless, odourless gas that can be dangerous or fatal if inhaled. You must watch for the warning signs in your home in the winter and make sure that your fuel burning appliances are maintained correctly.
On Wednesday, November 6, during the Flu Shot Clinic (9:20-11:00 am) at the firehall on Mission Road, the TIVFD will also be making available a number of 10 year battery-powered dual smoke/CO alarms and an accompanying Home Fire Safety Checklist at no charge.
Talk with the firefighter at the display table to learn more.
