Monday, March 11 at 7:30 at the Community Centre, we’ll be showing the very moving and informative film, Return to the Healing Circle, about the infamous Kuper Island Residential School.
My friend, Joan Morris, a Songhees elder and a former student at KIRS and a patient at the segregated Nanaimo Indian hospital, will join us to share some of her experiences and thoughts about reconciliation.
