Thanks to the people who have offered to knit some six by six inch soft yarn squares. There were a few questions: YES they can be crocheted; NO colour does not matter; YES the yarn does need to be soft since it is first put on the parent's body and then placed in the incubator on the baby's body in order to help as part of "bonding" .
I try to go to the Thrift Shop and get all the yarn I can find, so often have some on hand to give out at Soup's On. If you have yarn to share, it would be appreciated and passed on.
This project is part of a BC Girl Guide Trefoil Guild program.(The Trefoil Guilds are made up of older, wiser amazing former Girl Guides/Girl Scouts Leaders, Members and Volunteers!) We will be attending an annual Guild meeting on the Mainland and need the finished squares by April 24th.
