The July 1st Sail Past is on again and fast approaching!  Decorate your boats with some Canadian spirit and come enjoy an afternoon on the water sailing/cruising around Penelakut and Thetis.

1:30pm: Depart from Thetis Island Marina

1st Pitstop: Tent Island

2nd Pitstop: Penelakut Spit

Regroup and wrap up at Thetis Island Marina

For the young at heart who have missed the water balloon fun… come on back!  Dust off your launchers, prep your armour and waterproof your electronic devices.  Those wishing to enjoy a dry tame cruise can simply display a white flag or towel to signify they are not armed.

All ages and boats welcome.  Let’s keep this fun island tradition alive and not hesitate to show our pride of this fine country we call home!  The Sail Past will take place rain or shine.

Please note:  Due to COVID distancing, no formal gathering will be held following the Sail Past.

Looking forward to seeing many decorated boats and island neighbours at sea next Wednesday, July 1st!
