A weak front washes out Friday as it crosses southern sections and most areas, south of Woss to Whistler, saw a mix of sun and patchy clouds on Thursday.

OUTLOOK: (Friday-Sunday) An intensifying low pressure centre drifts south and by Friday will lie off of Vancouver Island. This brings Coastal zones into a warmer and very moist southwest flow. Friday will be mostly sunny and warm; by the weekend all areas turn cloudy with increasing shower chances and a rising freezing level. Inland and northern areas of BC likely will see heavier more intense rainfalls over the weekend.

6 TO 10 DAY: The progressive pattern continues all next week. A very temporary ridge does develop early in the week but is followed by further onshore weather with clouds and showers continuing.
