Shredding Styrofoam

For all Thetis Islander who are serious and like to avoid that Styrofoam is going to the landfill or burned south in any power plant. I work on a few 'insulation' projects where I can shred and use up Styrofoam. However, I am not setup for industrial scale recycling or shredding. My shredder is small - up to max 5 inch opening! And please understand I am not willing to drive around collecting and sorting through "garbage" to make it usable and end up with other waste.

What I can use is clean Styrofoam (Polystyrene - small balls visible) and without any paint, metal, tape, plastic, connectors etc. !!)  And sorry NO coffee cups, meat trays, egg cartons etc.

AND please the Styrofoam has to be broken up into hand size pieces otherwise I don't get into the shredder. Sorry but that is the work you have to invest to get rid off your Styrofoam waste. Nothing is for free even driving with the ferry over to the Recycling/Dump will cost you!!

If you have some Styrofoam please call/text to arrange drop off.
