Basic Foot Care includes:
- Lower Legs and feet nursing assessment
- Toenail cutting and reduction.
- Callous/Corn reduction and education/interventions to decrease or eliminate recurrence within LPN scope of practice.
- Hang nail /ingrown nail mitigation.
- Foot massage and moisturizing of skin
- Diabetic foot assessment and basic care
- Basic wound care/dressing changes/pressure point mitigation
- Referrals to complex foot care health professionals
Fee per client: $75 with appointments taking 1 hour generally.
Minimum clients for 2-day clinic to proceed: 10
Maximum clients for the 2-day clinic: 16
