Basic Foot Care includes:
· Lower Legs and feet nursing assessment· Toenail cutting and reduction.· Callous/Corn reduction and education/interventions to decrease or eliminate recurrence within LPN scope of practice.· Hang nail /ingrown nail mitigation.· Foot massage and moisturizing of skin· Diabetic foot assessment and basic care· Basic wound care/dressing changes/pressure point mitigation· Referrals to complex foot care health professionals
Fee per client: $75 with appointments taking 1 hour generally.
Minimum clients for 2-day clinic to proceed: 10
Maximum clients for the 2-day clinic: 16
