World Bicycle Day: Good for you and the climate too!

3 June declared WBD by the United Nations, to recognize "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and … is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport."

Cheers to Thetis cyclists, walkers, runners, and the accompanying cats & dogs on our island’s byways.

Thanks to the drivers for keeping an eye out for self-propelled travelers on our curvy, narrow Thetis roads.

Be Kind & Be Safe: If on the roads and not driving, please wear a bright safety vest, hat, scarf, jacket, something! & (if using) single-ear headphone/bud. If driving, please take care for pedestrians, cyclists, and deer.
