Jollity Farm Shop is planning a team building project with our staff in the second week in January. We want to do something fun together that nurtures new skills, is practical and also aligns with our values.
We've used our current aprons so hard the past year, that many of them are falling to pieces. Each staff member is going to make their own apron using scraps of recycled denim. It will be a fun reuse project while we learn a new skill and get to shine with our own creative flair. All additional scraps will be turned into napkins that will slowly replace paper towels in the cafe WC.
Vicki, Pat and Elisabeth will all be collecting denim over the next week or so, if you have old jackets, skirts or jeans that have rips or tears, but still have chunks of fabric in decent condition, we'd love to reuse
them.
We can receive items at the kiosk on our driveway, or send an email or text if you'd like us to pick up.
