Winter Safety Tip

Pond Ice should be at least 3 inches or 7.6 centimetres thick for a single person to walk on and at least 4 inches or 10 centimetres thick for a group in single file line.

For one person skating, it should be at least 4 inches or 10 centimetres thick and for group skating it should be almost 8 inches or 20 centimetres thick to safely skate.
