Thetis’ Community Assembly’s IEWG (Indigenous Engagement Working Group) will be hosting its second Indigenous film on July 21, 2025:
- Held at the Community Hall
- 1800h (6:00 pm) - 2000h (8:00pm)
- The film will be the 2nd feature of a 2-part series created by Peter Campbell of Gumboot Productions presents: Penelakut - Returning to the Healing Circle (2021) - Peter Campbell/Gumboot Productions
July’s viewing is significant as we approach the March for the Children on August 4, 2025, starting at the Salish Market, Chemainus. This march commemorates the children lost at the Kuper Island Residential School and across Turtle Island.
