An updated Thetis Island Phonebook is in the works. With a new team taking over its preparation, a few changes are being made to ensure the information can be managed accurately and maintained sustainably by future phonebook volunteers.
The Communications Committee is asking everyone who wishes to be included in the phonebook to submit an information form, even if the information in the current edition is still correct. At the same time, we are collecting updated information for the Thetis Island Volunteer Fire Department (TIVFD) so it has accurate contact and property information in the event of an emergency.
An Individual Information Form (www.thetisisland.net/tirra/documents/TI_Phone_Book-Individual_Data_Form.pdf) has been created to collect information for both the phonebook and the TIVFD. If you do not want your name or certain contact details published in the phonebook, please check the “Do Not List” box beside the applicable field. That information will then be shared only with the TIVFD. A separate Business and Services Listing Form (www.thetisisland.net/tirra/documents/TI_Phone_Book-Individual_Data_Form.pdf) is available for local businesses and service providers.
Once completed, please save the form or forms and email them to phonebook@thetisisland.net. If submitting them electronically is not possible, paper copies may be mailed to: Thetis Island Phonebook, PO Box 141, Thetis Island, BC, V0R 2Y0
A dedicated Phonebook Information Page (thetisisland.net/tirra/tirra-phonebook.html) is also available and contains the forms, submission instructions and information about the update process.
