Please be advised that the wildfire danger rating has now been upgraded to EXTREME.
Consequently, the following restrictions on High Hazard Activities on Thetis Island are now in effect:
- Friday: All High Hazard Activities must cease by 1:00 PM. A mandatory two-hour fire watch must be posted immediately following the cessation of work.
- Saturday onward: All High Hazard Activities are strictly prohibited. This ban will remain in place until further notice.
