This is it - our final week of the 2026 Nature House summer program! It has been an incredible season, and we are going out on a high note. TIME Jr. closes with a beach seine at The Portal, the SLC invites you to put your summer knowledge to the test one last time, and Stephanie Cottell joins Wild Creatives for a weaving workshop using plants from right here on the island.
For our S4 event, forest rehabilitation practitioner Tal Engel of WolfTree will explore how our forests can recover, regenerate, and one day return to old-growth status. Following the talk, Tal takes us out onto the Lawrence Valley loop trail to bring his research to life in the forest itself.
