Flu Shot Clinic ~ November 4th

The VIHA nurses will be arriving on the 09:10 ferry and officially start the clinic on November 4th at 09:30. If you are already waiting for them with your arm exposed, them a quick fill of the registration card will get them started early once they set up.

The official closing time is 10:30 although they may be able to squeeze a few more in after that before they pack up and leave for the ferry. But don't leave it too late...aim for before 10:30 to be sure.

The Community fund has once again generously donated some funding for goodies and Juice and coffee and the TIVFD Auxiliary has again volunteered to bake and serve the Coffee Service for everyone "recovering" from the inoculation. The nurses ask people to sit for 15 minutes after the shot to make sure that there are no adverse reactions, so we encourage you to sit and have a social coffee with your neighbours.  First Responders will be standing by.

When the clinic closes, it's only 45 minutes until the delicious Soups On event on Wednesdays. Why not make a morning of it? Flu shot, coffee, browse the library, and stay for Soups On lunch?

Wednesday. November 4 th.  See you there with your arm bare!
