Friday, October 28, 2016 at 4:40PM TIVFD member Matt Hess was one of over 75 islanders attending the Annual Flu Shot Clinic today at Forbes Hall. Thanks TIVFD Auxiliary for the "recuperation" goodies! Hosted by the TIVFD and supported by the Community Fund.

The Annual ‘Flu Shot Clinic is this Friday, October 28th, at Forbes Hall from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
Please try to remember to bring your Health Number. If your doctor wants you to get a pneumonia shot this year, that will also be available.
Don’t forget to wear a short sleeved shirt under your sweater…we are famous for the speed and efficiency our community exhibits to VIHA at this injection clinic.
As in the past, a snack service hosted by the TIVFD Auxiliary will be available while you “recuperate”.

Friday, October 28, 2016 at 7:05AM Susy Fordham and Ted Bieber are once again leading a Running Club for students from Capernwray Harbour. It will happen on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 6:00am. Our first run will be Tuesday (Nov 1st).
North Cove Road will be our usual route.
If anyone is interested in further details regarding our running programme,
please contact Susy at 246-3158 or sfordham@capernwray.ca .
Islanders are welcome to join. We move gradually from walking to running - the Cedar 12K run on April 9, 2017 is our goal.

Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 9:06PM My cat Artemis (a.k.a. Pupuce) has been missing for over a week from our property in Meadow Valley. Has anyone seen her around? She likes her comfort so I wouldn't be surprised if she'd found a second hospitable home somewhere! She is rather small but not skinny, tabby and white with green eyes. Very friendly. If you think you may have seen her please call 250 436 0058 or email anais.gerber@tarao.org
Thanks in advance!
