The Province will be lifting the campfire ban in parts of the Coastal Region tomorrow, July 24th. However, the CVRD in consultation with their Public Safety Manager and By-Law Enforcement Officer will NOT be lifting the campfire ban in the Cowichan Valley. Nor will the TIVFD be lifting the campfire ban here on Thetis Island.

If you anticipate a story going in but can't quite make the deadline, call Veronica at 250 246 1509 or email her at veronicashelford@gmail.com so we know what to expect and can leave space.
Carol Sowerby will be doing the ads for this issue, so send any new ads, or changes to old ones, to sowerby@seaside.net.
Thanks as always to everyone who contributes to our island magazine!
