Capernwray Students Travelling

Dear Island Neighbours,

Capernwray Harbour’s 92 students will be departing for their Mid-Term Break on Thursday, February 29th on the 11:05am and the 1:25pm ferry. 

Students will return on Monday, March 4th throughout the afternoon with most taking the 3:50pm sailing from Chemainus. 

We wanted to make sure the community was aware and informed of how this may affect ferry travel for those days.

Brief Post Office Update

I have Been in contact with Canada Post, and we are in the final stages of getting some new PO boxes ... no less than fifteen hopefully at least 45. Will keep you posted (pun intended).

It looks like we will be getting our mail from the carrier at around 11:00. This means we should have the days' mail sorted by 1600 ... give or take.

Been holding off on a larger email for a while until I had more concrete information. Larger email next week hopefully with definitive news on the PO boxes.

All you walkers and bikers stay visible the ground is slimy and it is dark out. Drivers what's your hurry?

Every second Wednesday, Community Paramedic, Vinh Pham, holds a Vitals Monitoring Clinic at Forbes Hall in the Care Station, coinciding with Soup’s On: Vital Signs check, BP Machine accuracy check, general assessment and referral).
11:00 until 1:00.

Stop by the Care Station this Wednesday to have your vital signs checked or to speak with Vinh.
