BOO! Hallowe’en at Forbes Hall this Year!

Thursday, October 31st from 6:00 until 7:30

It has been many, many years since there was a Hallowe’en event at Forbes Hall. With good wishes from TIVFD, we are happy to welcome all ages to a fun, family Hallowe’en get-together.

A warm, safe, dry space to share costume creativity with islanders, and a place to give treats to the kids!

There will be a costume parade with a photo backdrop followed by a Trick or Treat line – for all those islanders who want to participate. Plus, a couple of fun games, along with hot-dogs, juice, hot beverages and baked goodies.

Anyone wanting to help with this event please contact Ann Dickie at
dickie.ann@gmail.com or David Reay at davidreay@telus.net

Help Needed with Water Tank

We have a couple of the 300 water storage containers behind our cabin. We need help first to be able to access the water via a hose arrangement, and second, need to construct a filtering system. We got some advice from Graeme Shelford as to a design for the filtering system - but will need help constructing it.

In addition to the water storage tanks behind the cabin - we have another water storage tank that needs to be placed and hooked up to our roof drainage system of the cottage further down our lane.
