Author Recommendation ~

I would like to bring readers' attention to an author who I think is well worth reading.  She is Donna Leon and writes the Commissario Brunetti mystery series.  She lived in Venice for 25 years and seems to have a very interesting view of Italian politics (frightening!).

The books are well-written and rather low key so do not feature the nasty and brutish murders of many other modern mystery books.  It took me a couple of books to get hooked ..but I'm hooked!  Please keep them in mind.
