Moore Hill

The Thetis Island Nature Conservancy is aware that TI Lot 172 at the summit of Moore Hill has recently been listed for sale. This 52 acre property is adjacent to the reserve owned by the Nature Trust of BC for the threatened Townsend Big-eared Bat, contains a wide variety of habitats from summit to sea, and is an important watershed, making it highly desirable for conservation.

ThINC would love to see this area protected as a nature reserve and is talking with conservation partners about this opportunity.
