Reflective Address Signs
Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 10:56AM The TIVFD has partnered with Aggressive Fire Safety to facilitate the purchase of reflective address posts for your driveway Lot Number. The highly visible posts can be seen on many driveways already, aiding in faster emergency response times for the fire dept. and making it easier for Hydro or Telus to find you if your lines are down.
Thetis Island By-Laws require all Lots to have their number posted at each driveway entrance, visible from both directions. The white sign posts have blue highly reflective numbering and are mounted on a piece of heavy-duty rebar (included) that you pound into the ground.
Cost is $45 (includes tax) and we will have your sign at the fire hall for pickup. Email chief11@telus.net to order and for payment instructions.
