Syrian Refugee Update

Great news to share. After much waiting and processing in Lebanon, the Kaiyali Family arrived in Montreal on Saturday, February 13th. They will have a few days in Montreal for processing and adjustment, then fly on Tuesday, the 16th to Victoria, where they will stay a few days with family before travelling to Duncan on Thursday, the 18th. Their next adventure starts as they begin to settle in the Cowichan Valley.

Thank you so very much to all the people who donated funds, skill, and energy to make this happen. I will keep you posted on how things are going and ways to be involved. Thank you again for your generosity,

Michelle Black, for the Thetis Island Refugee Group
