Anna Kempe - Sooke 10K race
Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:14AM Anna Kempe ran her first 10K race this month, and came in first in her age group. Huge congratulations to this dedicated runner!

We are very proud of her accomplishment being the first in her age group and also having run the 10 km in under 1 hour (57.30 min). She has trained with some die-hards since last November 2x a week at 6AM - rain and (not so much) shine.
Susy Fordham and Ted Bieber are the organizers, and after an exciting turnout of about 40 students in the beginning usually a good 10-12 students make it to the race in Sooke.
This has been the first time for her and now she is eager to run more.
