The latest Wildfire News from the Coastal Fire Centre is up at http://www.thetisislandfire.ca/wildfire-news-archive.html  .  It includes some interesting background about safety precautions for flight crews involved in firefighting, and also, starting on page 5, things that members of the public can most usefully do to help the general firefighting efforts in BC.
