Flu Shot Clinic -YES!
Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 10:44AM We have managed to have the Flu Shot Clinic come to Thetis again this year, despite VIHA phasing out clinics and leaving people to seek out flu shots individually from pharmacies.
The Thetis Island Flu Shot Clinic will be held on October 31st, Wednesday, at the community centre, starting at 11:15. The clinic will be running concurrently with Soups-On which starts at 11:30, so you have the opportunity to have a great $5 lunch, visit with neighbours, and get your free flu shot all on the same day. The flu shot clinic ends at 12:50 pm. In order that the VIHA nurses can get back to the ferry.
They will bring the “flu mist” for children (rather than a shot) if you let chief11@telus.net know ahead if your kids require that.
Please support this Flu Shot Clinic on the 31st. We feel there is a need for it in our community instead of having to inconveniently travel elsewhere. And who can say no to a great bowl of soup!
