4H Club

We are looking to start a community 4-H club here on the island for our children and youth.

For those who don't know, 4-H is a youth development program sponsored in part by the Ministry of Agriculture.  Their motto is "learn by doing" and the '4-H' stands for their pledge:

- My HEAD to clearer thinking,

- My HEART to greater loyalty,

- My HANDS to larger service,

- My HEALTH to better living,

- For my Club, my Community and My Country.

Check out more details here https://www.bc4h.bc.ca/projects/clubs

We have completed the 4-H Leadership training and need at least six confirmed members to get started!  You don’t need to have a farm to join, there are lots of opportunities for smaller projects and kids can lease animals as well.  We will have an information session on Thursday March 1st. Please RSVP to hradmcclellan@gmail.com for details.
