Forage Fish Citizen Training ~ June 22nd

Interested in Citizen Science? Come to the Thetis Island Nature House (The Portal, North Cove Rd) on June 22 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to train to monitor forage fish habitat with the Mt. Arrowsmith Biosphere Region Research Institute (MABRI) from Vancouver Island University. Forage fish like Pacific sand lance and surf smelt are important food for salmon and other species. It's fun and easy. No previous experience needed. Rubber boots or water shoes recommended.
