CVRD Recycling & Waste Management

For those who missed visiting with CVRD at the Recycle yard, there are other meetings.  These will be directed to the communities were the meeting are held.  They will not focus on Thetis concerns and may not address them.  

The draft Solid Waste Management Plan, containing the full set of proposed strategies, will be online for review and comment for three weeks, from August 24, 2018 to September 14, 2018. An online survey will also be available. Visit www.placespeak.com/swmp for more information. Open houses are scheduled for the following dates and times. If you have any questions regarding the Plan amendment, please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned.

Open House Wednesday, August 29, 2018 - Lake Cowichan at Cowichan Lake Recreation Centre Multi-Purpose Hall, 311 S Shore Rd, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Open House Tuesday, September 11, 2018 - Cobble Hill at Cobble Hill Farmer’s Institute Hall, 3550 Watson Ave, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m

Open House Wednesday, September 12, 2018 - Saltair at Saltair Community Centre, 3850 South Oyster School Road 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
