September 8th at the Nature House: Humpback Whales!

Reminder that the presentation with Marine Education and Research Society (MERS) researcher Jackie Hildering is happening this Saturday at 7 PM! 

In addition to sharing MERS’ research on Humpback feeding strategies and rate of entanglement, Jackie will discuss how the fortunate return of these giants from the brink of extinction necessitates increased boater awareness about avoiding collision and what to do if entanglement is witnessed. 

At the Portal, 254 North Cove Rd. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the presentation starts at 7:00 pm.
