Notice: Wasp Nest on Lawrence Valley Trail

Be aware that there is a wasp nest in the ground on the side of the trail.  

There is a warning sign and the nest will be taken care of but in the meantime exercise caution.  

If you are coming from the Fire Station, after you cross the meadow and start climbing the hillside, the nest is about 100 yards past the two chairs after the junction of the Dingley Dell Trail and the Lawrence Valley Loop and on the left side of the trail.
