Farewell

83 days ago, I arrived to Thetis Island.

I have come to visit my sister and her husband many times before over the last 15 years.

This time was going to be a bit different, I was here to watch there home while they ventured across Canada.

As I drive onto the ferry to head back home, these are just a few things I will take with me.

1. I now look at garbage in a whole new way.

2. Hummingbirds can eat 75 lbs of sugar in 83 days.

3. Weeds not Zombies will take over the world.

4. What can I make for supper with three things??? (because I didn't feel like going to get groceries off island)

5.If you venture out after dark take a torch, Tylenol and a pen. (don't ask just trust me)

But most of all I have learned there are a fantastic group of people on this little island and off. (Myla and Steve)

I would like to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome, the coffee's, dinners, movies, shopping and wine tours.

As well as the fun at the Saturday market…

It has been a fantastic way to spend three months and I look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
