CVRD Area G Saltair/Gulf Islands CWF 2.0 Allocation - $8,100
Monday, December 14, 2020 at 8:01AM I am pleased to announce that $8,100 from the CVRD Area G CWF (Gas Tax -Community Works Fund)2.0 allocation has been allocated to the Thetis Island Community Association towards a retractable wall at Forbes Hall. Upon reviewing the CWF 2.0 it came to my attention that $8,100 had not been allocated. Working with Ann Dickie and the CVRD Finance Department it was determined that the funds could be allocated towards the retractable wall for the Hall. On the 9 Dec 2020 the CVRD Board finalized the authorization for this allocation.
Having a retractable wall varies the usage by the community and others.
