PLEASE -- help with - White Nose Syndrome (WNS) - surveillance.

Bats are beginning to show up and even return to summer roost sites.
In the past week there have been reports of bat activity from Vancouver Island and various Gulf Islands, the lower Mainland, Thompson, and Okanagan regions.
The BC Community Bat Program needs Thetis Islanders to: record and report when bats first return to roost sites.
Monitor frequently for any dead bats near their roost and report any carcasses to Rob Welsh your BC Bat Community Program Coordinator (do not touch dead or live bats with bare hands; dead bats can be picked up in a plastic bag and then frozen)
WNS in Washington was confirmed at one site when a private landowner noticed bats returning early to their roost, and then noticed bats dying.
Wanted “Dead or Alive” any Bats or Bat activity –
