Solid Waste Yard Operations

Hello fellow islanders,

We are currently only accepting household garbage. That is right, garbage from your kitchen and bathrooms only.

Space in our bins is limited, so do not add recyclables or trash items from outdoors.

We understand that recycle items maybe piling up in your storage. We kindly suggest all recycle be dropped at Bings Creek where possible, on your next ferry trip. This will alleviate your stock pile and keep our island clean!

We hope you are all staying safe and practicing social distancing. In this regard, please utilize the garbage drop off with a focus on getting in and out quickly, to eliminate person to person contact. We appreciate your respectful actions in this regard.
