Introduction to Bee Keeping

Webinar Course Spring 2020

Due to the current Covid19 pandemic, all in-person BC Dept. of Agriculture beekeeping courses planned for this spring had to be cancelled throughout the province.

To have educational opportunities remain available to anyone interested in bees and beekeeping, the Ministry will offer the free webinar course a second time this spring.

The course consists of four sessions scheduled as follows:

Thursday, April 16

Friday, April 17

Thursday, April 23

Friday, April 24.

All sessions start at 1:00PM (PST) and last for about 2.5 hours each. Each session is recorded and can be viewed afterwards by course participants.

To sign-up for the course, please send an email including your full name, location and email address that you will be using during the course to paul.vanwestendorp@gov.bc.ca or mariejulie.hughes@gov.bc.ca
