Stopping in the Roadway

To the drivers that think it is safe or legal to stop in the middle of the road to chat with passers-by on foot:

You need to pull over to the side of the road. I nearly rear ended an orange Pontiac Vibe today near Capernwray because they decided to park on a blind corner, then proceeded to try and wave me around them on the blind corner over a solid yellow.

Pull to the side of the road if you need to stop, for your own safety and for the safety of others, regardless of how long you're stopped for.
