Zinger and his Cake
Friday, July 10, 2020 at 9:31AM Fire Lieutenant Christian (“Zinger”) Zinser retired from the TIVFD on July 8th.
He served the department and community for seven years, first as a firefighter then also medical First Responder, and he retired as an officer.
Zinger and his wife Rachel and baby Amira will be travelling to Germany for an extended family visit and then hope to return to another BC community to work and raise their family.
We will miss him but he promises to visit. He also promises to join another volunteer fire department to continue to serve as an emergency responder and is most appreciative of the support of our Thetis Island community in allowing him to gain the knowledge and skills to make him an exceptional fire fighter.
