Weekend Coastal Fire Weather Forecast

OUTLOOK: (Friday-Sunday) The ridge grows gradually stronger Friday maintaining sunny warmer weather, but the flow remains from the northwest.

On Saturday the ridge pushes up and the flow changes to the west bringing much warmer temperatures.

It's Sunday that looks interesting. The ridge moves north and east bringing Coastal zones into a very warm southerly flow. A small unstable trough in the flow sits off California Sunday and streams north to lie off Vancouver Island late Sunday.

There could be possible late day thunderstorms over the southwest coast by or before Monday morning
