While we understand that a page has been established regarding the fibre optic initiative for Thetis Island, on the Thetis Blog, due to time constraints we will be unable to monitor any posts there. Please direct any questions you may have to letskeepintouchthetisisland@gmail.com and we will be pleased to answer as time permits. Furthermore, we encourage you to have your say in real time on the “Discussions” page of PlaceSpeak under the fibre optic initiative topic there. Regarding signing up to PlaceSpeak for anyone new to the island, or new to the fibre optic discussion: the “Let’s Keep In Touch with Thetis Island” is a private PlaceSpeak topic for islanders only, and is not discoverable in the public version of PlaceSpeak. Your email address is “the key” to accessing the platform. We, as administrators, need to grant you one-time access to this platform – it is open to ALL Thetis Islanders, both full and part-time residents. If there is a particular email address you would prefer we use to connect you, please let us know by emailing us at letskeepintouchthetisisland@gmail.com. And, if you are unsure of which email you are connected with, email us, and we will be pleased to confirm.
