More Vaccination Clinic Info
Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 8:45AM The Flu Shot Clinic will be on November 9 from 10 am to 2 pm.
Flu shots are for anyone over 6 months of age.
Flu mist nasal spray for children may be available for children…they get their supply in the second week of November but it may not be in time for our clinic.
This is a drop-in clinic for Flu since there is no charting involved.
Covid vaccinations: you must register with Immunize BC prior to the clinic. Here is the link: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/covid-19/vaccine/register
You can register on-line or by phone. Be sure to tell them it’s for the Thetis Island Clinic. They will be booking spots for Covid jabs in half-hour increments.
You can get your Flu shot at the same time as your Covid vaccination.
Booster (3rd) covid vaccinations. You must already have your letter stating you are eligible. Register at Immunize BC and bring your letter with you. This process takes a bit longer since the nurses have to chart your record.
Masks will be required in Forbes hall unless you are enjoying the coffee and snacks supplied by the TIVFD Auxiliary while you wait out your 15 minute post-vaccination procedure. Social distancing measures will be in place. Having your care card handy can speed things up a bit at the beginning.
