Volunteer Call-out: Forbes Hall Community Centre

•        Sorting through Boxes

Two volunteers are needed to look through the piles of library boxes to find anything other than books!  Probably will not take much more than an hour.  Would prefer that both people work together on this.  If two people want to pair up, let us know when you plan to be there; otherwise, a day and time can be sorted between those that reply to this post.  

Masks are required, and there are doors to open to keep the air fresh.  Boxes were packed to be manageable weight-wise, but there are many of them!  This job is to be completed by the end of the weekend.  

•       Assembly and Install of Storage Shelving

Two – three volunteers are needed to get the storage shelving moved to the correct locations and rebuilt. The units are large and require some skill at basic assembly.  They are “snap-together” units.  Rubber mallets would be a handy tool to have on hand, as well as gloves.

Masks are required, and there are doors to open to keep the air fresh. The day and time will be arranged between those that reply to this post.  This job is to be completed by the end of the weekend.   

•     Exterior Yard Clean-up

Four – five volunteers are needed to work on the grounds and driveway area.  Please meet at Forbes Hall on Tuesday morning 9:00 am.  Please bring shovels, rakes and gloves. Have masks for when you are working within 6 feet of others and wear sturdy footwear.
